Hello! My name is Christa Planko and I am a professional medical copywriter/editor with a passion for creative expression.
My job involves developing content consumed by busy healthcare professionals. This type of writing requires mastery of word economy, as messages must be brief, concise, and impactful. In much of my creative writing, I've applied this skill. You'll find the majority of my work consists of flash fiction, microfiction, and poetry, including haiku and tanka.
I have also written a middle-grade novella, under the pen name Christa Plunkett, and am in process of writing my first novel. It will hopefully be finished later this year.
Currently, I reside in South Jersey with my 5 feline muses.
